"I really enjoyed my last minute booking at Toadhals. I thought I was lost, following Google Maps down a rough, unpaved road just off the highway, but the directions were correct. The hostess came out to welcome me and showed me to my room, which was large and comfortable. She recommended a good place to eat supper in Stonehaven, and also directed me to a great walk around the property that went up on the cliffs overlooking the sea.

"Guest house with common areas on the first floor- comfortable living room, clean dining room and spacious kitchen. Our host was available both breakfasts to make coffee, ensure adequate food was available and did the dishes! Fun conversationalist as well.
