"Overall, this place is great, it’s located right off the promenade and is not a traditional hotel but the staff were very helpful to allow me to check in and so on. Everything was fine, I enjoyed my solo stay there! "

There was no reception desk or personnel therefore no orientation on tv, hot water heater, etc. Our check in was coordinated by a construction worker as the manager was not on property. The units were being remodeled and ours had a hole where the stove should be. We had to put sheets on the bed. Hot water required turning on a switch to heat the water. Turning on the switch blew out all the lights - which we tried 3 times. So we...

"This is definite faded grandeur. The ground floor looks and feels beautiful but the rest of the hotel is tatty - not helped by a lack of cleaning In some of the common parts. Staff were slightly taciturn, but we went out of season and they might have been busy doing other things. The location though is fantastic and, crucially, there is a good breakfast! This hotel could be so much better with some love. As it is, it is over priced."
