Excellent stay in snowdonia. Friendly staff and a pleasant place to stay. The place has aged and the footboards squeaked. But all good

Brilliant location for a walking weekend in Snowdonia. Very comfortable and great food. The service was struggling, but the staff were hard working and eager, so easy to be lenient.

The staff were so amazing and sweet. We enjoyed our time there and it was easily walkable to train or any other places we wanted to go. Also rented bikes and loved our ride around the area and to the sea.

Great location in Beddgelert, relaxed atmosphere and friendly polite staff. Cooked breakfast very nice. Property just a little dated, but functional.

My husband and I stayed here for a last-minute trip and were not disappointed. The hotel is charming - it's an older building with an old-world feel to it. The staff were incredibly warm and helpful and the location cannot be rivaled. We definitely have plans to return the next time we're in the UK.

The breakfasts were great and the staff very attentive. Our room was clean and I liked the large towels. However, the water for the tea time shower was cold. Overall I would stay there again.

A great stay at this hotel, friendly attentive staff but the building was a little tired and needed some attention. Our bedroom window looked out over a very dirty flat roof area with missing tiles on the roof.

For most part clean room with comfortable beds, but the general condition of the hotel is very poor and dated, breakfast service slow and very disappointing food, terrible coffee! Therefore we felt overpriced. Great location, village is delightful.

The property is a Victorian building and is slowly being restored by the new owners. It is a work in progress and may not meet the full standards a modern traveller expects. However, the manager is brilliant, the rooms were clean, beds comfortable, shower hot and powerful and food (only curries sampled) was brilliant. Please go with an open mind and cut them a little slack if things aren't quite perfect, they're getting there.

I have visited several times over the past few years and watch it slowly decline. Now with new management the change is wonderful. There is still room for improvement but i will visit again to see how it grows more popular. The building is old but has a character that many modern hotels lack.
I wish the new team all the bestfor the future.

Bathroom was dirty and no soap. No one was ever on staff. Had a nice outdoor patio but was weedy, neglected and overgrown

Old, charming and interesting.
Understaffed. We arrived to check in at 10:45pm. Thr doors were locked there was no bell and we could not get in. Thr website said checkin was 3pm onward with no mention of time limit.
