We were prepared for a crappy place because we read reviews. It lived up to the poor reviews. Very basic and ugly. TV had 1 channel, no volume. Mini fridge did not work. Too worried to take a shower, limited hot water. With some TLC and $ this place could be great. Cute outside. Wonderful view. Would not stay again.

Check in was chaotic...no key left and office closed. Fortunate to locate a staff person who used master key and got us a key. Motel is getting run down but adequate. Views from motel of City of Quebec were awesome. Good location to tour Ile d'Orleans. Room lighting is less than adequate. Needed to use electric space heater.

Friendly owner, great spot

Beautiful little spot to spend a couple of nights. Motel is a bit dated but it’s clean and everything works. There’s a nice little fire pit where you can watch the sun set over old Quebec. The owner was very helpful and always available to answer any questions. A note that you will need to bring bottled water as you can’t drink from the tap here - they do provide you with a couple small bottles free of charge, which is nice. A gas station down the road has all your necessities. E-bikes and scooters for rent. A must do! The island is beautiful and there is so much to see. Highly recommend!

Passage d'une nuit Ă  l'Île d'OrlĂ©ans

Aucun interlocuteur Ă  la rĂ©ception Ă  notre arrivĂ©e vers 16h15. Seul un papier Ă  mon nom Ă©tait Ă©pinglĂ© sur un tableau avec les principales informations (n° de chambre et code d'accĂšs, ainsi que pour se connecter au WiFi). Nous avions dĂ©cidĂ© d'aller "souper" Ă  l'extĂ©rieur mais la serrure de la porte Ă©tait dĂ©fectueuse, aucun moyen de fermer la chambre : dans la position verrouillĂ©e, la porte s'ouvrait quand mĂȘme. ConsĂ©quence : retour de nos bagages dans le coffre de la voiture et en route pour Sainte-PĂ©tronille Ă  8 km pour manger (auberge La GoĂ©liche, au bout de la rue du Quai). Retour au Motel, pas besoin de la clĂ© pour ouvrir ! L'Ă©tablissement Ă©tant proche de la route, c'est assez bruyant. Bruit largement couvert par la VMC de la salle d'eau d'ailleurs. CelĂ  dit, nous avons bien dormi.
