Cast a line for trout in the East Verde River or marvel at Tonto Natural Bridge, a massive limestone arch hiding in plain sight. The World's Oldest Continuous Rodeo has been bucking since 1884, while the Arizona State Old Time Fiddlin' Championship keeps mountain music alive. Mazatzal Casino provides indoor entertainment when you've had enough sun. Green Valley Park offers peaceful lakeside strolls, and the surrounding Tonto National Forest beckons with hiking trails where elk and black bears roam. For the full experience, visit the Mogollon Rim Visitor Center to learn why locals endure summer tourists for these mountain views.

"Just a great place in the woods and right off the hwy"

"Floor was not cleaned, toilet handle was broken, leaking faucet in the tub."

"We were only there for a night but everything was Great! The bed and pillows were comfortable we had a great sleep. Will definitely look here again should we need to visit Payson again! Staff was friendly and helpful. Pool was clean and cool."

"The hotel was more than adequate and the breakfast was very good. The rooms are a bit small but everything worked fine. The elevator was briefly out one day but it was quickly repaired and management was very helpful My only issue was that this property is right on the Beeline Hwy which is very busy throughout the day and much of the night. I'd suggest that you request a room as far from the street as possible."

"I always stay here when visiting convenient and inexpensive in an expensive world"

"The best part about this place was Laura in the front desk. She was incredibly helpful during a very rough situation because of a bad bed and breakfast host. She was incredible."

"It was nice! Especially like the fireplace!"

"Estaba en muy malas condiciones"

"Really clean room we loved it"
