We had a very disappointing experience with the hotel and decided to leave after just one night, even though we had booked two. Upon arrival, the staff were unprofessional and unwelcoming. Although the booking stated parking was available, the hotel’s garage was too small for our cars and already full. We were directed to a paid public parking lot nearby, but the hotel refused to cover the cost, despite no mention during booking that parking had to be reserved in advance.
The rooms we were given were located in a different building than shown in the pictures online. They were worn, extremely hot (no air conditioning), and situated next to a noisy side street with live music from a nearby Irish bar. Sleeping was nearly impossible due to the heat and noise.
Breakfast was chaotic, with not enough space for all guests, and poor hygiene when cleaning tables. During check-out, the staff initially tried to charge us the full tourist tax for both nights, but after some discussion, they agreed not to — since we only stayed one night. The tourist tax could only be paid in cash.
The only positive aspect was that the rooms were relatively clean. Overall, it was a frustrating and unpleasant stay, and we cannot recommend this hotel.
