Not the glamour (and associated cost) of a more expensive hotel, but a perfect alternative if you're just looking for a place to lay-over or to start your area exploration from. Everything was clean and worked. Warm water, comfortable, clean beds, working (and new) AC, in room bar fridge, TV, and microwave.

For europeans like us, it was fun to stay at a typical north-american motel. It was quite ok overall, not the cleanest of places, not the best maintained room (ugly fixes & paint jobs, etc.), but it was well equipped (small fridge & microwave), spacious for four people, and the beds were comfortable. The a/c was noisy but very efficient. Overall "fun" and of good value. If you're picky on details or looking for the nicest place possible, it won't be for you.

The staff were helpful and excellent. The carpet in the room is worn out. When I first turned on the shower, brown water came out. A piece of molding beside the door and sow bugs were coming and going on the damp area behind the door. The mattress though comfortable was torn as I discovered when checking for bed bugs that I did not find. The room was on the side of the motel away from the major roads and was quiet.

Very uncomfortable bed,stained carpet, hole in the wall, broken bathroom door. Terrible smell, rusted drain in the bathroom sink. Very unpleasant experience. We didn't expect much from the motel,but the cleanliness is always expected,no matter whether you are a motel or high class hotel.
