Excellent room, noticeably better than most hotels -- a bit bigger, better condition, nicer beds, just all-around higher quality than most. Very clean. And maybe it was just the nice weather, but when the AC unit came on, it generally only had to stay on briefly, and then it was quiet again for a long time -- and it stayed very comfortable. It was also quite a bit quieter than most other hotels. Plus, on the ground floor, the rooms have patio doors opening right by the parking lot, which makes it easier to load and unload. On top of that, you can go out the back door and are only about 30' from the door of the bar & grill next door, which has good food, drinks, and service. I truly wish all hotels were this nice!

Across the miles in Iowa

The Cobblestone was a great summer stop. Lake View, nice restaurant next door, well organized breakfast and pleasant hosts. I will stop here again if traveling this way.
