Great location !

I have stayed many times at the Chelsea Cloisters, and this was certainly the smallest room I’ve ever had. Not thrilled that there was no bath plug on arrival so couldn’t have a bath then, but this was remedied the next day. But I so enjoy the location, and I look forward to my next stay there in a month’s time.

Great find in Chelsea neighborhood. Great for shopping or just walking the neighborhood. Love the concept of having a flat but in hotel setting. One note - on previous stats I guess I was in executive studio which is remodeled and sparkling clean. This trip I needed an early check in and got an older studio - footboard on bed was dirty, closets old and sticky. A bit depressing but did not affect my overall trip. Everything else great.

The apartment was quite functional, but now well maintained. Sleeper-sofa was broken and quite uncomfortable. Cabinets in bedroom did not close properly and the place was in need of a good paint job. Lamp in livingroom flickered and shut off. Not possible to get second key. Internal doors should have been lockable. Very early check-out time. One elevator was down. Took forever to get an elevator at check-put time. Location is excellent, but standards do not live up to what is reasonably to expected at the price-point. On the plus side - they have a good cleaning crew and good room service options.
