"Very nice pool, very affordable hotel and had an excellent lunch there. Recommend"

"Bedroom was clean and tidy but the outside balconies and railings looked unsafe so we didn’t venture out onto them. The bathroom was nice but the extractor fan didn’t work which turned it into a sauna. One of the basins didn’t hold water which was a slight inconvenience when shaving, etc. The shower didn’t have a slider rail and was fixed around waist height and had to be held to wash your body unless you wanted to use the drencher head. There was also no shelf inside the shower area to put toiletries on meaning constant bending down. A shower grab rail would also have been advantageous. The toilet seat was also wonky but manageable. For a 5 star hotel complimentary daily water bottles were not provided unless you wanted to pay for it from the mini bar. Breakfast was a rudimentary continental type. Scrambled egg (with shell) was provided but if you wanted cooked eggs or omelettes there was a €7 - €15 charge. Swimming pool and sauna facilities were nice. Bar area was clean and tidy. Generally all the staff in the hotel were polite and helpful especially the receptionists."

"Stunning property, beautiful views"

"An amazing hotel with friendly staff. Very quirky with chocolate themed furnishings. Our room was a good size and very comfortable. The breakfast buffet has to be seen to be believed with an outstanding range of goodies to choose from. The savoury options were plentiful. It would have been preferable to have the eggs and bacon kept warm but this was our only negative. The fresh fruit was beautifully prepared. I have shared photos of the non gluten selection with my non gluten friends who were impressed with the choice. Truly a must stay hotel for anyone wanting to experience a “Willy Wonka” moment. Walk from station to the hotel is doable in 15 minutes but pavement is not very even and probably not suitable for nightime. The walk up to the historic centre was challenging and one we had to abandon in favour of a taxi but noted afterwards that we could have got a bus. The walk back from the centre downhill was actually not so bad. Our room on 3rd floor at the front was somewhat noisy from road traffic."

"We had to leave the hotel at 6 am. They had prepared a breakfast package for us. Very nice!"

"The front desk staff are exceptional at Rosetta Hotel. We had numerous small requests during our stay, which were all met with professional demeanor and helpful responses. It's a well appointed and well maintained property, close to all the major sites of Perugia. Can't recommend it more highly!"

"We enjoyed our two day stay very much. Location is excellent but a tip we took a big taxi and it couldn’t fit the narrow lanes to the door. It dropped us in the min square and we had a walk. On leaving the hotel front desk staff ordered a regular taxi that came to the door. Thank you. Yes the roads are very narrow! The building is very old and the lift doesn’t directly access all rooms so if you have mobility issues advise the hotel in advance. The room was great. Bed comfortable and wonderfully quiet. There were a few stairs but we were fine. Breakfast is good but not excellent. Normal for Italy. Front desk staff very helpful and friendly. Breakfast staff less so. It was good value but I might look elsewhere next time - as we get older! Last tip the gelateria Carloni 1989 - just a few steps away possibly the best ever."

"Stayed for one night and it was a very welcoming hotel. Great breakfast with lots of choices and a well appointed room with fridge and tea kettle. Bathroom had a great shower with hot water and great water pressure Hotel was close to the bus and train stations and easy to get to old town by using the escalators which are a 2 minute walk. We had a rental car and a pay parking lot was a 5 minute walk (drop suitcases off at the drive up - check in and then park in the lot). Very good for one night and would have been a great place for a longer stay. Highly recommend"

"The shower was over flowing while showering and the pillows were very hard to sleep on. Being from a foreign country and have just arrived there was NO way to know a reservation was needed in the restaurant where absolutely no one was sitting and eating at. The restaurant personnel were not friendly or helpful and didn’t want to bother with us. Other than that it was a nice place to stay at.."
