"The good points. Room and bathroom very clean. Excellent breakfast with plenty of choice. Undercover parking include in room price a bonus plus EV charging if needed. Not so good points. Don’t book a cosy room with 6’ double. It is too cosy, we are not big people, but I would not want to spend more than a couple of nights in there. The lady on reception is bit snappy when my wife said we don’t want to be on the top floor. We are full she was told, but after some huffing and puffing a room was found on the second floor. On the first night we dinned in restaurant not very good! On the second night we dinned in the lounge much less formal and the food was better. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel based on our experience."

"Stayed 1 night to go to the open air in Scarborough. Although a few miles away there’s a bus stop across the road that goes into Scarborough, and also a bus at the open air that takes you back, so ideal."

"Was a little apprehensive when reading reviews but it was ok for an old building needs some TLC a Little out dated staff friendly. Room was ok booked an executive family room but not that executive would have been nice if breakfast was included with the price.The building is lovely inside good views over Scarborough. Beds were clean, only thing missing in room was a phone to contact reception it will keep you fit walking up and down the stairs if you don’t like lifts ."
