Getting around requires ride-sharing apps since public transit is limited. Luxury serviced apartments and boutique hotels dominate the accommodation scene, complete with pools and concierge services. Between gleaming skyscrapers and colonial remnants, discover a metropolis of striking contrasts. The National Museum houses ancient treasures while street vendors serve steaming bowls of bakso meatball soup mere steps away. Wander through Taman Mini Indonesia Indah, a fascinating park showcasing traditional houses from across the archipelago. Plaza Indonesia offers air-conditioned refuge and luxury shopping when the tropical heat becomes overwhelming. For evening entertainment, Jaksa Street buzzes with unpretentious cafes where locals and travelers exchange stories. Don't miss Kidzania, where children play at adult professions in miniature city streets. At Bundaran HI roundabout, Jakarta's beating heart, watch the fascinating choreography of traffic beneath the iconic Welcome Monument.

"I paid for a Bundaran HI view, but they initially placed me on Level 1 with a view of only trees. It was only after I complained at the reception that they transferred me to Level 7 the following day. Additionally, although I paid for an extra bed, they did not provide an extra towel, forcing me to ask for one. There was also no shoehorn in the room until I requested that as well. The housekeeping staff should thoroughly check the amenities in the room beforehand for the guest's convenience, rather than making us ask for basic items. This is my first inconvenient experience with Kempinski, following my last visit two years ago. Kempinski has always been my number-one choice, but this stay has left me with a very poor impression. I am deeply disappointed this time."

"Had another wonderful stay at Park Royal overall. The service staff, from the doormen to the front desk and call centre team, were courteous and helpful throughout our stay. There are a few areas where the hotel could improve its operational processes: 1. Prior to check-in, we requested an additional bed and two sets of duvets as we were arriving after 10pm with a very sleepy child. While Guest Services confirmed the request, a subsequent email from the Front Desk seemed to suggest otherwise, which was confusing. Upon arrival, the room was not fully prepared, and the additional bed and duvets were only set up after we had entered the room. Unfortunately, this disturbed our child and resulted in a difficult first night. I would have expected while waiting for the room to be ready, the additional request would be part of it. 2. During our stay, requests for additional blankets and duvets took longer than expected to be fulfilled. We understand the hotel may have been busy, but there is room for improvement. 3. This was our third visit, and on each occasion there was a delay in room readiness. Most notably, on this stay, despite arriving well after 10pm, there was still a wait before the room was ready. That said, these issues would not stop us from returning. Park Royal remains one of the better family-friendly hotels we have stayed at, and we hope this feedback helps make an already good experience even better."

"Friendly staff, very helpful and kind. Always smiling and accommodating. Will try their best to speak to you despite some language barrier . Breakfast was fantastic with an array of local and international cuisine. Club lounge was adequate but was better at other MOs. Overall great hotel with fantastic location."

"Pool area is nice for kids. Hotel is not new but very well maintained. Nearby Mosque can be a nuisance due to volume. Great staff. Overall a very good stay."

"Room were spacious.. Breakfast was great, so many choices. Even the staff offered us fresh made juices. Staff were friendly and helpful We came before check in and our room wasn't ready, so they told us to wait at level 26 at the club lounge. And they served us drinks and afternoon snacks, so delightful"

"Great location. Amazing breakfast and views. Cool pool at the 71st floor and great rooms. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful."

"The hotel location was perfect, just next to Grand Indonesia mall so shopping and dining options were plenty. The staff were really helpful in helping us check in/out and managing our luggages."

"Clean room, helpful staff"

"Excellent job from the team"
