"We ended up staying at the Driftwood Inn for one night after our travel plans changed, and it turned out to be a great find.
The place has a really neat vibe to it. It’s beachy, laid back, artistic, and a little eclectic in the best way. Everywhere you look there are interesting details—from the artwork and gift shop to the handmade birdhouses for the purple martins. There are also plenty of places to just sit and relax, whether that’s on a swing, around a fire pit, or simply enjoying the beachfront setting.
Tristan was great to work with. We were looking for a room at the last minute, and he was friendly, helpful, and made everything easy.
What’s funny is that we’d noticed the Driftwood on a previous trip and thought it looked like a cool place. When we suddenly needed somewhere to stay, it was the first place that came to mind. We were fortunate enough to get a room, and it definitely lived up to our expectations.
We were only there for a night, but we’d absolutely stay again. It’s the kind of place that has personality and character, and it feels very different from a typical hotel. If you’re looking for a relaxed beach atmosphere right on the water, it’s worth checking out."
