Yuchi is applauded for its cultural attractions such as Formosan Aboriginal Culture Village and Liaoxiang Changhong Tea Story House. The city has something for everyone including sights like Sun Moon Lake and Sun Fog Port within a small-town setting.

"Really nice hotel, beautiful lake front location. Staff were super helpful and friendly. Breakfast buffet had a wide variety of western and chinese options. Absolutely no negatives."

"Breakfast is good"

"Very enjoyable stay at sun moon lake"

"The breakfast is wonderful! Too many choices and delicious!"

"Na"

"Amazing views from all lake-view patios. Hot water fountain in the room with premium black tea bags that soothe the heart. Enjoy the lake-mountain view. Friendly staff with smiles help with all kinds of requests. Breakfast comes with Taiwanese and Western styles that warm the heart and wake up the sleepyhead."

"This is a gorgeous "resort" hotel - fully 5-star aesthetic, amenities, and service all around! With several other sister properties on the island (similarly named "Lealea", quite confusing), you can't miss this grande dame with its expansive facade that you'll see if arriving from the pier. . It's a historical building built entirely with cypress wood. Check out the intricate architectural details of the lobby, particularly the raised ceiling! Same vibe in the all-wood, spacious double room we stayed in. Surprised, however, to find the equally spacious and modern, newly renovated bathroom (with separate bathtub and shower). Due to its historical nature, the hotel's guestrooms are laid out on two floors and there are no elevators; but no worries, the hotel staff will eagerly carry all of your luggage to/from your room (no need to tip in Taiwan apparently). The breakfast buffet is served in the gorgeous, lakeside dining room with a panoramic view. You have to choose from 1 of 2 service shifts: 7 or 8:45am. Recommend the later one unless you want to "fight" with the massive crowd in the 7am service. Food selection and quality are wonderful, with both chinese and western options. Our stay included some coupons for various recreational activities to include a free one-hour rental of regular/electric bicycles, which we gladly took advantage of. On departure, the concierge was very helpful in arranging for a taxi to the Shuishe bus stop for our bus ride back to Taichung."

"Staff gave excellent recommendations for food and cycle hire in the local area"

"環境景觀超級好適合全家及親友一起來住宿,順便遊湖!"
