The location is great, quiet but near Times Square, and many ethnic restaurants. I arrived at 6pm and was told room wasn't ready. Came back at 7:30 and was told again room wasn't ready, and it would take another five minutes to be ready. We were allowed to go toward the room in about two minutes, brushing shoulders with the cleaning staff exiting the room. The room was larger than expected, the floor was on the ground level in the small patio. We went out to Time Square for the evening.
At bedtime, back at the hotel, when I looked closely at the bed for the first time, I realized that the sheet that's supposed to go under the blanket was actually over the blanket; and when I pulled the blanket open, I noticed that the bedsheet and pillow cases looked like someone had just used them to sleep in, and simply got up and straightened things out, unable to undo the stubborn wrinkles that were created in certain spots over a restless night. I bit my lip and thought, what the heck, this is kind of like getting under the blanket with a stranger, except with a time lag.
