This family-run hotel seems recently renovated and has a nice wooden style. Our room was fine and the bed was comfortable, but unfortunately it wasn’t the room we booked. We had reserved a bigger room with three beds, but were given a much smaller one with no explanation at all. Communication was difficult since the staff barely spoke any English, making even basic questions quite challenging.
We also ordered dinner, which was very underwhelming: just some köfte (meatballs) and fried potatoes. We were surprised to be charged 1,300 TL for this (they called it a “discounted” price, but I have no idea what the full price would have been). Breakfast was also disappointing, with only two small pieces of cheese, two eggs, potatoes we did not finish at dinner, a few vegetables, and rather stale bread.
Internet was another issue. The Wi-Fi didn’t really work in the room at all. I managed to get it going briefly by restarting the router, but it was unreliable overall. The shower was also tricky, with water that swung from boiling hot to freezing cold, making it hard to relax.
Overall, it felt like the hospitality was a bit superficial. While the place has potential and some nice touches, there were too many issues for us to really enjoy the stay or recommend it without reservations.
