I used to live in the area in the 80's and can tell you the place was not up to snuff. Since the remodel, the place really shines now, the room was clean, the bathroom was large for the room size, which really made our stay quite pleasant. The location in regards to the area we were visiting was excellent.

This is a great little place to stay in the Castro. My friend and I stayed for 1 night for a concert, and it was a great location and very comfortable bed!!!!! Slightly noisy being right on Market street but honestly wasn’t terrible. Highly recommend !

Check in was a breeze. Parking was available but there were limited spots so I’d recommend getting there as close to check in time as possible. The room was very clean and a good size. We absolutely loved the shower. The area was very quiet at night and we slept great. Would highly recommend and we’ll be back for sure.

The best thing about this place is the location. For the price, it can’t be beat. There are no amenities, just a room. Room was clean enough, very small, and no frills. Staff was meh, parking is limited and fills up quickly, so plan accordingly if you had a car. I’d say here again just because it’s the only reasonably priced accommodations in the area.
