Lovely hotel in a perfect location for walking into York and being able to leave the car at the hotel. Shower was leaking quite badly and had been for a while as the floor was black in parts due to this. Otherwise the room was clean and comfortable

Staff were excellent - very friendly and extremely helpful. We had an issue with a blocked wash hand basin and it was resolved immediately. The room was not quite delux but overall clean. The main good point of our stay were the staff who were exceptional!

Excellent stay, great location, fabulous service and beautiful weather. Drinks in the courtyard in the sun was perfect! Would have got 5*all the way but the folding bed for our 3 year old did exactly that, folded all the time lol. It wasn’t a major issue as we moved the mattress to the floor. Sorted.
