The hotel is centrally located in a good area that is walking distance to some great restaurants, parks, and farmers markets. The room itself was good. It could use some renovations and upgrades, but it met expectations.

We stayed over Memorial weekend because there was nothing left in town. The gentleman at the front desk was very nice, but the accommodations were not nearly as pleasant. We were in a separate building across the street, which seemed like it was probably an old apartment building near the motel that was purchased and very cheaply renovated.

I only stayed at this property because everything else was sold out or way too expensive. This hotel has literally nothing to offer! No pool, no breakfast, courtyard, seating areas, games nothing! Both the beds and pillows were extremely hard, it was very uncomfortable sleeping through the night. Oh and the AC wasn’t centrally placed in the room, it was in the corner by the bathroom so there wasn’t air circulating to the sleeping area. I had to sleep on the end of the bed to get a little bit of cool air. The tv had very little cable channels but they were constantly buffering so I didn’t get to watch anything! I will not be staying here again.

Motel 6 was easy to find, right on the main road into Payson; location may be older but it is well maintained and renovated. We had a wheelchair room and it was spacious and there was plenty of parking. Front desk staff was courteous and friendly, answering all my questions. This is a budget-friendly location so there were not alot of 'extras' and that was fine since we were there to enjoy the town.
