Very close to everything we wanted to be near! Great price for the location. Clean and comfortable! The coffee shop across the street was great as well. Close to the train station and lots of vintage stores.

Loved our stay at Hotel Calisto! We got an upgrade to a bigger room before we even got there and they let us store our luggage there when we arrived before check in time and even refilled our water bottles! Room was beautiful and clean and we had a great nights sleep after a busy day in the city. We will definitely be back!!!!❤️❤️

The location is good, the hotel is also nice, I can't say it's ugly or old, but we stayed at the hotel for 6 nights. The welcome was nice, but apart from that, neither our water was replaced nor the room was cleaned, we didn't report this because we left the room early every day, everything was the same as the day we arrived, the lack of room service was disappointing.

The Calisto’s location was perfect for us. We could walk anywhere. The room was tiny and the stairs, steep but everything was very clean. The staff was excellent. The manager could not have been friendlier or more helpful. We would stay again!

Everything was excellent! The hotel room was very cozy and the staff were very kind and helpful. The location was great too. It was within walking distance to the bus, train station, and attractions like the Jordaan district with The Anne Frank House, shopping, and many restaurants and cafes nearby. The Calisto restaurant was also wonderful.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Calisto! Check-in was a breeze. We were able to leave our luggage with the staff at the restaurant downstairs before the official check-in time and it was in our room waiting for us when we arrived later that day. The room itself was beautifully decorated and very clean. Even though the hotel is on a lively street, the noise settles down at night so we were able to sleep quite soundly. The location is perfect, with great cafes and restaurants nearby (including the restaurant below). The staff were super friendly. All in all, it was the perfect home-base for our trip to Amsterdam!

What can't we say enough about this amazing space! My partner and I had a late arrival from a 15 hr train ride, there check-in process was effortless and the space was comfortable, quiet, clean and cute! The partnership with the neighboring coffee shop was perfect before we went off to the airport. We will definitely be back soon and recommend this space to any and all visiting Amsterdam!!!

This is a really really lovely little gem. The area is super nice, the staff is super nice, the cleaning is super nice and the room was super nice. The only thing is that since it’s an old building, you can hear a lot from outside, but it didnt bother us. And perhaps some bigger curtains would be great (they don’t exactly cover the entire window), but I mean that’s a really small thing. I would definitely recommend to everyone and we are definitely going back!

Nice hotel in Jordaan. We were early and wanted to leave our bags as they were running behind and weren’t at there yet, they offered a coffee on them at their partners nearby coffee shop (coupons also available for hotel guests in the rooms, which was a great touch for breakfast) Check in was smooth. Rooms are small as stated but that’s normal for Europe it seems. As the hotel is above a restaurant there is noise coming from below til late in the night (we were there on a holiday and then a Friday) they do provide ear plugs which did help. Steep stairs to get to rooms, again this is fairly normal for Amsterdam. We also disliked was our shower had no door and the carpet in the room looks a little worse for wear. Overall, not a bad place to stay. Thanks again!

Tiny room without tv and front desk. Disconnected from restaurant but a good location Restaurant was lovely yet ear plugs left for use did not drown the loud nusic and noise from other rooms.
