This is a great place to stay. It has a hunting lodge ambiance but with all the modern amenities. Beautiful scenery with Lake Placid very close. We had a deluxe suite with a private patio which we were impressed with. Staff are excellent, friendly and attentive. Overall, the building and grounds are very well kept. Great for couples and for young families.

My favorite hotel! This place is just spectacular, from the awesome rooms to the amenities! Rooms are gorgeously appointed, grounds are spotless, pool and hot tub so relaxing. Restaurants are delicious. Even when the hotel is full, it never seems crowded. If you are looking for some R&R, this is your place. Rain or shine, you can not beat the Whiteface Lodge!

We had a great stay! The breakfast buffet was amazing, room was super nice and all the offerings at the lodge - from morning coffee, to an ice cream parlor visit after the hot tubs were excellent. We hope to go back one day!

We enjoyed our stay , the one bedroom plus kitchen and beautiful outside sitting area was perfect . We had great weather so we were able to use the pool . Maybe more lounge chairs would be good as they fill up fast . We visited early June , not sure how it is in July -August . Oh the Breakfast was excellent as well as the coffee station .

This lodge is simply stunning! Although it is not a new facility it is very well maintained. Everything was very clean, the staff is top notch, the amenities are great. Meals at the on-site restaurants were exceptional. It's too far to walk into downtown Lake Placid however they offered a shuttle. The one day the shuttle was not offered due to a marathon there was plenty of taxi opportunities. We wouldn't hesitate for a minute to stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay at Whiteface. After having an issue with our initial room, Tiffany at the front desk, was wonderful and made sure we were moved to another room and generously upgraded our stay. The breakfast buffet was delicious. All of the staff encountered during our stay were wonderful. Great amenities. Would definitely stay there again.

My boys and I had a great weekend at Whiteface Lodge. It's conveniently located to the local sites. When not seeing all the great things Lake Placid has to offer, we felt right at home at the lodge. With the game room, movie theater, pool and roasting marshmallows over the campfire, we have terrific memories of our stay. Looking forward to coming back again.
