Very nice experience at the Renaissance Wien hotel (Ullmannstraße), especially for the spectacular service and attention of Albert and Denise in the dining area. They treated us very well and with great kindness. I wish all the service were like this. The room was impeccable, as were the bathrooms. The dining room, the TV room, very good too. I would not hesitate to return to this hotel.

We booked two connecting rooms and received written confirmation from the hotel beforehand. However, when we arrived, we were told there were no connecting rooms available. Instead, we were given two separate rooms on the same floor — one suite (as ordered) and one club room, which was not what we had paid for. The hotel offered free breakfast as compensation, but unfortunately, it didn’t make up for the inconvenience. Having to split up the family between two rooms really disrupted our vacation — we couldn’t all be together as planned, and it made things very difficult, especially with the kids. Additionally, basic amenities were lacking. Our room had no soap. When we asked for it to be refilled, we were told the housekeeping staff had already left for the day and that someone would bring it after 10:00 PM. No one ever did. Overall, this experience was very disappointing. We chose this hotel expecting a certain standard and level of service, but unfortunately, it fell far short.

The location is unbeatable—just steps away from the U4 metro line, which provides easy access to all of the city’s major attractions. It’s only a few stops to the heart of Vienna, and one quick stop to the magnificent Schönbrunn Palace, making sightseeing incredibly convenient. The hotel itself exceeded our expectations. The staff were professional. Our room was spacious, modern, and immaculately clean, with a super comfortable bed that ensured a restful night’s sleep. We also loved the amenities provided. Whether you're in Vienna for leisure or business, the Renaissance Wien Hotel offers everything you need for a comfortable experience. We would definitely stay here again if we are visiting Vienna.

Noisy room in need of renovation

After having to complain many times, I was finally able to move from an extremely noisy room. The main window had been fixed shut, but still let in all the traffic noise from outside. Several of my colleagues also lost sleep for the same reason. I moved to a room where the windows closed properly, but with the aircon set to minimum, the room was still too warm… In February! After having may issues connecting to the internet (as with many other guests), an internet fee was added to my bill. I would not recommend this hotel.

The cleaning of our room was poorly, often done in a hurry and we had the strong feeling our room was one of the last being serviced. Stayed for 5 nights and after 3 nights the bedsheets should have been changed but that didn't happen. We stayed here before and never had any complains. Maybe a shortage of housekeeping staff?
