"This was a beautiful property with very helpful and friendly staff. The rooms had the perfect mix of old unique architecture and modern amenities. Loved the courtyard for some peace and quiet as well as a quick dip in the pool on a hot day. The breakfast was so good, fresh made pastries and eggs and cappuccino to order. We only stayed one night, but wish we could’ve stayed longer to explore more of the city."

"Calm, professional oasis. The quantity of rooms made fora peaceful lifestyle. The location is accessible and calm. I would like to return for a longer stay"

"What a gem!! I cannot say enough good things about this property. Great location in old city with an easy walk to all sites. Loved the stone walls of the room with same material for barrel-vaulted ceiling. Very spacious. Felt like I was in a medieval castle but with all modern fixtures and amenities. Amazingly quiet for being in part of old town (I didn’t hear a sound at night). Being located on edge of mountaintop, my room had a wonderful view out to other parts of old town, with french doors that opened. The owner Laura is extremely gracious and kind, providing great information, recommendations, and assistance with bookings. The morning breakfast had many choices and was very good. I highly recommend this property."

"Very clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious."

"Best hotel in the area and Matteo is wonderful receptionist. Thank you for everything"

"Had 2 rooms. One had a thin uncomfortable mattress, the other had no windows. I was not comfortable in a room without a window."

"This was one of our favourite stops on our tour around Sicily. After spending so much time in the cities, it was wonderful to relax in the peaceful countryside. The property itself was beautiful, full of character, and felt very authentic. There was ample parking. The pool, set within a walled garden, was absolutely stunning, although the water was quite cold during our stay. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout, and our room was very spacious. That said, the furniture and bed were a little uncomfortable. There was a spa and some excursions. But no written information anywhere. A summary of activities in our room would have been helpful. We enjoyed walking around the grounds, although part of the path passed by a small airstrip, which wasn’t particularly scenic. Because of that, I don’t think I would choose to stay in the houses located beside it. You have to try the almond milk absolutely delicious. We also had dinner in the dining room both evenings, and the meals were excellent. Overall, this was a charming and beautifully decorated hotel, and we had a lovely stay."

"Great room overlooking the stream and with a super view of Ragusa Ibla. Friendly and helpful staff. Great communication re parking nearby. Amazing buffet breakfast! Overall a very pleasant stay."

"One cannot say enough about this sweet place in Ragusa. The rooms are well appointed, the terrace room added another dimension looking out on the rooftops, cathedral tower, and hillside. We had a dinner snack at sunset on the terrace which set off the marvelous day we had at the Valley of Temples (note you could see them lit at night from the terrace). Great beds -- we slept very well and enjoyed a great shower. The best part of the stay was the help from Benny who got us a bottle of wine for our sunset snack, helped with luggage, and prepared coffee and a lovely breakfast for us before we left. Highly recommend."
