Old-world Hanoi with modern theatrics

Two distinct wings set the tone, from the Heritage Wing’s shuttered corridors and warm glow to the Opera Wing’s bold black, white, and red palette. Days drift between the quiet garden courtyard pool and a deep, scent-led reset at Le Spa du Metropole. Evenings can swing from hushed whisky-lounge intimacy at Angelina to a croissant-scented start at La Terrasse.

Although we stayed at the hotel for only a short time, we received excellent service at the reception and in the dining room. They surprised my wife with a bouquet of flowers and a cake for her birthday. The breakfast was rich and delicious.

I highly recommend a stay at this hotel. The service is absolute spectacular. Highly personalized and friendly. We stayed in the opera wings in a club room and the afternoon tea and drinks in the evening was an added benefit. In the heart of the old French Quarter, it is walking distance to shopping and sites

The Metropole is quite simply old world chic! The staff are amazing, everything is amazing. Be prepared to pay for dining and drinks but the quality of the food and service is well worth the treat. The room we had was in the heritage building and I think they called it a luxury suite. Quite small but the bed was super comfy and the size of the room was adequate.
