Ett trevligt, men slitet äldre hotell, med dålig service, dålig frukost med litet utbud. Blandad personal = Jobbade de där eller bodde de där? Vi ville ha ett rum på nedre plan, men fick ett på övre plan med höga branta trappor. Detta hotell passar de som gillar en äldre miljö med naturnära upplevelser. Langesund är för övrigt en mycket trevlig stad. Långt från hotellet till stadskärnan.

Et sånt stille sted, omgitt av sjø og flott natur og med kort vei til kollektivtilbud, restauranter, underholdning, severdigheter og flotte turstier. Det må også nevnes at vertskapet er utrolig koselige og tilstedeværende. Deler av hotellet(det gamle) har noe enklere standard på baderom, men har kvalitet i henhold til pris man betaler.

Et sted med sjel i omgivelser som tar deg tilbake i tid. Må tåle at det er lytt på rommet på grunnlag av dette. Nymalt som det var så mangler det noe å henge håndklær på og det bør være sjampo eller tilsvarende på badet. Frokosten var helt ok for å kommer i gang med dagen. Førsteinntrykket når man kjører inn porten setter en demper på det historiske fine stedet(se bilde)
