The hotel is about a 10 minute steady walk to The Royal Mile and the Old town but we preferred to be a little bit out of the way. The reception staff were super friendly and greeted us warmly after a long journey. They even upgraded our room free of charge which was really lovely of them. The room was spacious and clean. The bed and pillows were really comfortable and the breakfast each morning was incredible. All in all we had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend to others.

The stay was great, the staff fantastic, especially the lady on reception. The room was great however it lacks cleanliness in some areas, eg: the extractor fan in the shower was clogged with dust .The headboard on the bed was very dusty too as were the pictures, minor issues that can be easily rectified. Myself and my husband would definately stay again and will be recommending to others 🙂

I just love this hotel❤️ it is so close to Princes street and Waverley train station and yet it’s in a quiet safe street. From there it’s just less than 10 minutes walk to the start of the Royal Mile. My room was lovely and bright also very clean with gorgeous comfy bed 😊I can’t wait to stay at hotel indigo again
