The place to stay for the decay of Western Civilza

Bathroom ceiling falling down, breakfast was a joke and they charge for coffee!

8/10 Very good

Comfy beds but kind of a creepy hotel

The room was clean and beds were very comfortable. The hotel was under construction and was a bit creepy. Also there is no longer a pool. It seems the hotel is closing soon and repairs seemed to be completed as cheap as possible.

Good hotel just. Old bad part of neighboorhood slash industrial area pool was no functioning so that definitely was kick in the teeth.

Ok hotel

This hotel is clean and fairly quiet. It looks like upgrades have been made. However, our enrry and batheoom doors stick so bad you have to push with all your might to open. The window is falling apart. Tv didnt work even with new batteries.

Cheap hotel at higher than cheap hotel prices

For 100 a night this should be a better painted and kept up hotel. I know 100 is cheap but you get a very cheap experience here. No soap or lotion, hair on the towels, paint falling off the wall, old poorly working sink. These are things I'd expect from a 50 dollar hotel, not one on the edge of typically priced. Staff ranged but 80% were very kind and inviting.

The room was fine, definitely needs some upkeep. We were supposed to get free breakfast but were toldthe wrong times so that didn’t happen.

We weren’t given breakfast vouchers and went we told them we had our room keys they didn’t care we needed those vouchers and we didn’t want to deal with it
Jacqueline, 1-night trip

Poor building and no coffee

The hotel was listed as 3 stars - which is not accurate. It is an old building that under went a cheap partial remodel. The floors were sticky. The bathroom ceiling paint was badly peeling. Noise traveled between rooms. On day 2 there was no coffee offered with breakfast - had to be purchased separately. Was in an industrial location. But, staff were as friendly and helpful and things were clean.

People were very nice. The ongoing renovations could make this place a gem.

2/10 Poor

When we booked this that same day I called to get our family and another family's room next to each other and asked for pool side. The lady I spoke to assured me that she would put in the computer that we would be next door AND pool side. Upon check in we found out that neither of those accommodations were made and they said they would not make those accommodations for us! Our whole group was separated not only by room but floors. The the chair in the room we stayed in was horribly NASTY. The bathroom was dirty with glitter all over the place. The hallways were very trashy with unfinished patched holes in the walls.
Blake, 1-night trip

2/10 Poor

When we checked in the day before, I asked if we could just keep the same room and not have to recheck in since the reservations mistakenly got put in my name not my husband's for the second night. The lady at the front desk said yes, she would make a note of it. Everything would be fine. I then receive two missed calls in a voicemail while we are out stating that we had left stuff behind and they wanted to know if we were wanting to pay for another night. I reminded her of the conversation that was had with my husband the day before. There was clearly no note made on the account like she said there would be.

Improving the building so there was a lot of construction. But it was clean and decently priced

Do not book this place

Scam scam scam stay away. We got in super late, had no choice but to stay the night and couldn’t get our money back. It was overpriced for the value, first room was dirty, didn’t really feel like a safe area. This place needs to close until they can get it together. Read the reviews.

Not ready for prime time

The hotel is undergoing a renovation so there were no amenities; pool, bar, or restaurant ( no breakfast).
Peter, 1-night trip

Mixed Pros and Cons

For the price, the rate was good and I would likely stay here again. Pros: Nice lobby, great breakfast, mostly clean room and abundant parking. Cons: Deferred maintenance is everywhere. The hallway flooring was damaged and my hotel room door barely opened and closed. Hallways and doors are in need of repainting. A quarter of the gym equipment did not work. There were stains on my sheets. Breakfast area TV was broken. My bathroom toilet was from the 1970's (titanic sized rear tank) that would barely flush anything and was partially ripped away from the wall. Overall, this is an average hotel for the price. Management and maintenance are severely lacking though, so you get what you pay for. Just know what to expect.

Louis, 2-night trip

2/10 Poor

This hotel should be scraped and rebuilt

To start with the positive, the bed was comfortable but the rest of the place was basically a dump. I knew it was going to be bad when we checked in and there was a long black hair on the bed. I have long blonde hair and my partner short dark hair so it was a bit unnerving to find long black hair not just on the bed but also multiple ones on and in every towel and washcloth in the bathroom! The bathroom door couldn’t close all the way, the toilet did not flush well and you had to try multiple times to get even just toilet paper to go down. Lukewarm shower. Bathroom floor tile was chipped, things were just painted over instead of being replaced or repaired. All of that aside, the worst part was waking up to go eat the continental breakfast and finding out they don’t serve coffee. Oh but there’s a coffee bar there where you can buy a cup for $4! Just to make a few extra dollars off each guest doesn’t make sense, and the coffee in the room was all decaf so you have to pay if you want caffeine.

This looks like at one time was a very nice hotel. It now has conference rooms full of carpet, chairs and other “things.” Fitness room is empty with an old water fountain on the floor. No restaurant at all. Good price but needs a big face lift.
Jeff, 1-night trip

Good, but the cockroaches freaked out my grandson

Friendly staff, but a lot of maintenance is in progress. Weight room was unavailable. Room was clean and well stocked but saw a couple of cockroaches in the bathroom and shower area. Eco-friendly in that there was no maid services during our 3-day stay, but provided more towels, shampoos, conditioners, and coffee singles for the coffee maker in the room from the front desk.
Andrew, 3-night trip

Extremely Mids.

Hotel is under construction, which was not disclosed. You get a room, nothing else. No breakfast, no pool, no restaurant. Constant noise from the work being done. Feels like they shouldn’t allow stays while this is going on.
Stephanie, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

Maybe better in a year

There is NO restaurant or bar. This is false advertisement. TV and phone in room was not working. Front desk was very helpful and moved us to another room. New room was ok, coffee maker stopped working after brewing the first cup. Definitely low budget hotel with potential of being better in a year or so. Bed was very comfortable. Everything under constructing.
