Shopping in Sathon

There aren't too many places for shopping in Sathorn as this part of Bangkok is mainly a business district with a wealth of first-class hotels. The shopping is mostly limited to a few hotel boutiques, a small local market or 2, and malls that are very modest in size by Bangkok's grandiose standards. If you want to see the extensive shopping opportunities that Bangkok is famous for, you’re better off jumping on the BTS to Siam, Chit Lom, or Sukhumvit. These areas are where you can get your fix of retail therapy in the Thai capital. However, if you just need a little diversion or a couple of goodies, you should be able to find what you need in Sathorn.
