Disappointing Return Visit – Not Coming Back
This was my third stay at Hotel Beatriz Costa and Spa, and unfortunately, it will be my last.
While the room was spacious and clean, it felt very dated and in need of a refresh. The staff were generally polite, but reception service was lacking and unhelpful at times.
The food, however, was the biggest letdown. It was genuinely terrible—meats were flavourless, vegetables were bland, and some dishes were so bad I actually had to spit them out. For an all-inclusive hotel, the dining experience was extremely poor. No kettle in the room. On our last day the lift stopped working and we are on the 4th floor.
We specifically chose this hotel again for the spa, only to find it’s no longer included in the all-inclusive package. Worse still, the spa is in a dangerously poor condition—completely unacceptable for a place that markets itself around wellness and relaxation.
It’s clear that standards have dropped significantly since my previous visits. I’m very disappointed and wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone. There are much better options in the area.
