We found the location very convenient—it’s a pleasant neighborhood with several metro stations within a 10-minute walk, making it easy to get around the city. The hotel was mostly quiet, except for a Saturday night when noise from a nearby corner restaurant/bar went on for hours which disturbed our sleep. Thankfully we had quiet neighbors.
Before arriving, I had requested a room on the top floor and away from the elevator, and I really appreciated that this was fulfilled. The view from the room was great.
The room itself was extremely small—something that seems to be quite typical for Paris. It was very cramped, and it was hard to move around the bed comfortably. Cleanliness could have been a lot better. I tend to shed a lot of hair, and after housekeeping had been in, my hair was still all over the floor. Also, it would have been helpful to have more than one toilet paper roll at a time.
Unfortunately, the air conditioning in our room didn’t work, which made the stay quite uncomfortable during the warmer days. The shower was also in poor condition and had very low water pressure, which was disappointing.
