. Jaguar yurt was small for family of 4 (2 adults & 2 grown kids). Main BR good, but nowhere to sit in room to hang out (it was rainy when we wete there). Location out of town, but view is amazing. Easy to get tuk tuk to town."

"The property needs some urgent upgrades; dated furniture; very old towels and bedding; bathroom renovations; better care of the garden. Swimming pool was dirty, no one goes in the water. Staff is nice and friendly.

options at the restaurant were good and tasty. But I wouldn’t recommend this place until needed upgrades and renovations are completed. Customers should not get used to pay for poorly maintained properties."

"Es un cuarto en la casa de una familia local. Si quieres tener una estadía como si vivieras en Panajachel, es un lugar perfecto. El dueño y su familia son muy amables, hay animales, y el cuarto está limpio y cómodo. Si quieres un lugar turístico, con silencio, la última tecnología, o comodidades --busca otro lugar. "

"Would not recommend to stay here.
The staff is not trained in hospitality and the hotel itself is WAY OVERPRICED!! Even at half cost I would not stay here again.
No phone reception in the area and NO wifi in the rooms. Stayed on a business trip and one of three rooms had heavy mold stains and the room itself was not properly cleaned.
It is also located right next to a noise highway, so you hear cars and noisy public transport at all times.
Found out when paying that if you book on other sites...

"Privileged location to enjoy stunning views. Relaxed atmosphere and friendly service. Prepare to negotiate plenty of stair. If driving, going up to the parking area can be challenging."
