"All the staff were polite and friendly and made us feel welcome. Evening meal was plentiful and good value. Although we managed to park on site there are more rooms than spaces ( tight spaces) so you may have to park in town and pay.
Are stay was marred by the bathroom not being cleaned toilet , shower & basin which was a shame, can only assume that the cleaner is not doing their job, thus letting down the rest of the team.
One last thing the duvet cover was torn and needs replacement."

"Plus sides: next to the Donkey Sanctuary and the ability to cook for yourself.
Now for the downsides. Where to begin?
*Couldn't get into contact with the owner for check-in, arrival times, code to the key box or anything. Only after contacting Travelnest (the third company in charge of advertising the property) by phone on the day of check-in, I got a very short email from the owner about the check-in time (an hour later than advertised) and code for the key box. No apologies, not even his/her...

"The location was great for our purposes and the parking was good. Breakfasts were excellent, there was a nice patio and garden out the back. Well-run family B&B. The principal negatives were the noise (our suite overlooked the main road) and the very spasmodic Wi-Fi. At this price point it was disappointing."

"Wonderful place with friendly staff and good food.
Stayed one night. Had lunch and dinner there.
Participated in the bar's trivia night - finished last but had a great time.
Free on-site parking, and free breakfast in the morning."

"So as we were driving down to Devon we were running a little late. Liz on reception took the trouble to ring us and check our ETA so that we wouldn't have any difficulty getting in when we arrived. Top drawer. She had also rang me earlier in the week to sort out our parking as she suspected email wasn't working.

"The room was spacious, the bed was huge and comfy, the bathroom was spotless with a deep bath, shower, and plenty of hot water. Our hosts were warm and welcoming. Having an area outside with our own garden table and chairs was great. Would certainly stay again. "

"The staff were very friendly and efficient and the food, both at breakfast and in the evening, was excellent. The rooms appeared to be recently decorated and had everything we needed.
We would certainly stay here again."
