"Very pleasant stay here. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean, tidy and more than adequate for my needs, though perhaps a little less than I'd expect for the price. Breakfast had a good selection of hot and cold options, including crêpes, which was nice. Dinner was also of good quality. I enjoyed a massage in the spa, the masseuse was friendly and welcoming, despite a bit of a language barrier. Ideally located for EuroAirport too."

"My daughter and I booked last minute as we got tickets to the Women's Euro Final. The staff were lovely, the breakfast was great. The room was of a good size, beds were comfortable and our room had a "book nook" which my daughter absolutely loved. Only issue I had was the hotel did not receive any messages we sent via expedia. So there was a minor confusion with the room and the need for parking, which the staff sorted for us. Their frustration with expedia was plain and I wouldn't put this against the hotel. Tip here is to email them directly and not via Expedia. "

There were just a couple of smaller problems such as empty shampoo bottle in shower and very small beds. Also, the staff is efficient and helpful but not friendly or welcoming. "

Excellent layout with many places to store belongings, we could even place out suitcase and folded pushchair under the floor at the end of the bed leaving all the floor space. Housekeeping was said to do a clean on the fourth day but this did not happen. Not central but easy tram 3 minutes walk away which takes you into the old town. (And free public transport with the included Basel card. "

"Fantastic Stay – Spacious, Comfortable, and Great Location I absolutely loved my stay at Aparthotel Adagio Access Saint Louis Bâle! The room was surprisingly spacious and very comfortable for three people — we never felt cramped at all. The beds (including the sofa bed) were cozy, and we all slept really well throughout our stay. One of the highlights was the fully equipped kitchen. It had everything we needed to cook simple meals, which was both convenient and budget-friendly. The entire room, including the bathroom, was very clean and well-maintained — it felt fresh and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The location is excellent. The tram station is just a short walk away, making it super easy to reach Basel and explore the area. There are also shops, bakeries, and restaurants nearby, which made everything even more convenient. The staff were friendly and helpful. Check-in was quick, and they provided us with all the info we needed for the local transport system. The hotel is in a peaceful neighborhood, so we enjoyed a quiet and relaxing atmosphere at night. Wi-Fi was fast and reliable, which was important for us. Overall, this place really felt like a home away from home. "Some rooms only have partial lift access, so you may need to manually carry your luggage up a flight of stairs or so - but it’s a great, economical base in Basel that’s totally worth the effort. The room is pop-modern, simple but clean and highly functional layout, with a comfortable pillow and duvet and thoughtful amenities that make you feel well looked after without excess. The staff are very professional and friendly, assisting with check-in, and self-checkout is available via the email notification you receive. I’d be very happy to book again."

"The room was spotless and very chic. Its small, so not a lot of room for big luggage. The location was perfect for traveling by train because it's one bus stop away from the train station. Down a few stairs and you're in the charming streets of Basel. I would stay here again! "
