"This is a charming and pleasant inn. It is clean and well maintained. We however found the bed mattresses to be saggy and lumpy. It’s important to know that the church clock across the road does ring out every quarter hour and the hour on the hour. Found the breakfast to be basic but good with some excellent bread and rolls. "Beautifully appointed apartment in a superb location. Fantastic communication from our host, including local sightseeing and restaurant tips. Hot tub on the roof top was a lovely way to relax in the afternoon. Points to note are that it's a penthouse and there's no lift. Also, double check the sleeping arrangements will work for you if your party is more than 2 people."

The only negative I would say is I booked this hotel in particular for the location, but more so because it had a pool. The pool looks far bigger in the pictures. 3-4 kids in there is almost enough to fill it. Pool and all areas were also very clean. "

"Hotel Hirschen Glottertal is a lovely hotel in a very quaint village. This is a perfect place to stay if you are looking for a home base around many hiking trails and beautiful nature. The facilities and amenities are exceptional. It was a delight to explore the wonderful scenery and come back from a hike to a relaxing sauna session. The staff were accommodating and the breakfast and restaurant delightful. "
