"The staff was so sweet and accommodating. The property was pristine along with the pool. Food was amazing every meal. Wildlife is very active (monkeys, birds, geckos, iguanas, scarlet macaws, butterfly’s, frogs etc). I always felt safe on the property and would recommend the largest suit to anyone who wants more privacy and quiet since the other rooms you can hear everything within the hotel. There are 3 beautiful beaches between 5-12min driving distance from the hotel. The staff recommends Playa Ventanas but I would recommend Playa Piñuelas apart of the Marino Bellena National Park. Very quiet beach that’s easier to swim or body board at. "

The villa offered both comfort and space for our family of four. The owners were incredibly welcoming and hospitable. But what truly made this experience unforgettable was the breathtaking view. Our villa overlooked the lush forest, with a stunning glimpse of the ocean in the distance. Every morning, we enjoyed the natural spectacle right from our patio, where we were fortunate to spot Capuchin monkeys, vibrant Scarlet Macaws, lizards, and delicate hummingbirds fluttering nearby. The tranquil surroundings and exceptional hospitality made Villas en el Bosque a truly unforgettable retreat. "We stayed in the Superior Villa/Villa Agalla and the view was beautiful. The property felt secluded and we enjoyed our stay. This villa does need some maintenance, but overall a wonderful week. For example, the shower floor tiles are loose and will stick to to the bottom of your feet. We couldn't use the grill because it is charcoal but the bottom is burned out of it. There is no air conditioned common space, it is all open air. However, the bedrooms are air conditioned for a good nights sleep. If we return to the same area, we would definitely stay here again. "
