"Small relaxed hotel with a nice pool. Friendly staff. Bathroom had a bath with a shower over it, but no shower curtain or screen. Good air conditioning. Room didn't feel particularly secure, with just a basic lock and no safe, but the quiet location of the hotel more than made up for this. Breakfast (extra charge) had a good choice of cold options. Overall, very pleased with hotel and value for our 2 night stay. "

"We absolutely loved our stay at Coquillade. The property is surrounded by its own vineyard, creating a peaceful and picturesque setting that feels like a true escape. We woke up each morning to lavender just outside our window and stunning views of the property. The service was excellent—friendly, attentive, and accommodating throughout our stay. The location was ideal: quiet and serene, yet just a short drive to several charming villages full of character and local flavor. Coquillade is beautifully maintained and thoughtfully designed. It offered the perfect blend of relaxation, nature, and luxury. We’re looking forward to returning."

"We stayed there just one week after its opening, and it’s clear the property has a lot of promise. The location is excellent, the design is tasteful, and the atmosphere is refined. However, as with any brand-new hotel, there are still quite a few operational kinks to work out. From service coordination to small details, you can tell the team is still finding its rhythm. While we enjoyed our stay, I couldn’t help but think it would be a more seamless experience after six months of fine-tuning. I look forward to returning once it’s fully up and running. "

"Very nice little place with pool and restaurant that are wonderful. Rooms are comfy and just what was needed. My brother had an issue with his bed as the queen was actually two twin beds, that moved apart in the middle of the night. Property is very nice though wifi is very weak, so be prepared to disconnect. "

When we were leaving they had a bag with lauder cookies, they made us tags with our initials on the it for our luggage’s. The best hotel!!"

"Sophie and Jérôme have created something truly special at Hôtel La Garrigue. Every aspect of my stay was exceptional. With a clear vision and deep expertise, they’ve lovingly renovated the hotel into a haven of hospitality, serenity, beauty, and charm. From the moment you arrive, every detail feels thoughtfully curated. The local French breakfast was delicious and especially enjoyed under the olive trees on the terrace. The bedding, mattress, and pillows were so comfortable that I slept deeply and woke up feeling completely refreshed. After a day of exploring, the pool and bar are perfect for relaxing. The hotel is also ideally located, just a short 3 minute walk into the village, where you’ll find a few lovely restaurants and picturesque streets to wander. La Garrigue is also proudly environmentally conscious, which is reflected in everything from the local food served to the motion-sensor lighting in the halls, and the thoughtfully chosen products in the rooms and lobby. I’m already looking forward to returning later this summer."

We had room 17 which was absolutely lovely with a large sitting area. The views from anywhere in the hotel are lovely and the staff very helpful. "

The ambiance of the entire property was elegant, serene, and perfectly suited for a special occasion. The staff throughout the hotel were warm, professional, and attentive, making us feel genuinely welcomed and cared for. "Extremely Disappointing for a 4-Star Property We booked Le Palais d’Aglaé for our honeymoon, expecting a charming and relaxing escape with beautiful valley views. Unfortunately, what we received was a subpar experience that didn’t reflect a 4-star standard in service, hospitality, or comfort. Upon arrival, the front desk staff was far from welcoming, offering little assistance and a noticeably dismissive attitude. When we inquired about our room — which was supposed to have a valley view — we were instead given a room with two trees and a wall view (see attached photo). When we addressed the issue, we were told the hotel was full. However, rooms were still showing as available online, both on the hotel’s official site and on Expedia. Even after an Expedia representative called the hotel on our behalf, the staff refused to help or offer alternatives. To make matters worse, we were met with cold stares every time we passed the reception — not something any guest should experience, let alone during a honeymoon. The room itself felt like a dungeon, with minimal natural light and no ambiance — completely unsuitable for a romantic trip. Breakfast was equally disappointing. It was poorly organized, with missing utensils, almost no cooked food, and limited options (mostly pastries, bottled juice, and yogurt). We travel frequently, and this has been one of the most disappointing stays in France. The hotel is overpriced, overhyped. Would not recommend — we truly regret choosing "

"Amazingly friendly people from the moment we arrived with our grown up children. Very helpful with extra requests and also taxis etc to attend the wedding we’d travelled for. Pool was lovely and warm, I’d imaging in the height of summer it would be idyllic. "

"We booked this aparthotel last minute because our original booking did not work out. What a treat to stay in this beautiful property in the town centre and walking distance to all the sights. The front desk staff was welcoming and friendly and the lady in charge of the breakfast room (I’m sorry I didn’t get her name) was very nice. We enjoyed the mouth watering array of offerings at breakfast as well as the good coffee. We got a unit with a big bedroom, bathroom and a small kitchen area. The unit was spotless as it was cleaned everyday. It was our best accommodation of the trip. "
