Transportation to Thoddoo was a little intense for the waves but since you arrive to the pier they are there waiting for you. You get a coconut once you are at the hotel since there everything is marvelous. If you really want to live the local experience of Maldives you definitely need to visit this island. "Nice location, friendly staff. We stayed for one night before heading to Male early in the morning. The hotel organized us a night fishing with proper gear (only one per three persons) and knowledgeable fishermen. Afterwards they grilled the catch and prepared us a proper goodbye dinner. Ask anything, they will organize! The room itself was ok. We had a room with double bed plus extra single bed and AC. Bathroom would need some update and there were no hot water.
