"The staff was friendly and helpful, the location was great, nice pool.
The only thing that we did not enjoy was the food, all the meals were too salty, the menu was limited, I got food poisoning on my second night, the managers were excellent.

"This is my third time staying at El Emperador and it’s been great. The manager Gervacio and the staff are amazing. You’re literally 30 feet from the beach and walking distance from a ton of restaurants & bars. If you stay there get a junior suite or higher as those have excellent views and are more spacious."

"2nd time to stay at this hotel and I will definitely be back. This is a very reasonable rate hotel in a great location. They clean the rooms daily, beds are comfortable and staff is friendly and helpfull. If you stay, must check out the bar next door Sailors, fun place great bartenders. "

"Stayed Blue Chairs Jul 1-8-25. For the price great location perfect The entire staff was great but an extra shout out to Rafael & Abraham for there above and beyond customer Service. The hotel could use a make over but knew that when booked trip My room was good no issues at all. I would stay there again The Beach Bar and Cafe food was always good as well as service Beach was great always had a full drink what more could you ask for on vacation "

"The hotel and staff were great. It's just a short walk to the Malecon, and there are plenty of shops and food stands nearby, which made everything very convenient. My only complaint is that the pool doesn’t open until 10 a.m., and you have to go out to the beach to get and return beach towels. Not a big deal, but a bit inconvenient. Beach towels need to be returned in order to check out no exceptions unless you want to pay a fee. Overall, I really liked the hotel and would stay here again if the price is right."

"The staff is terrific from check in to check out. Very attentive and friendly. I thought the food was very good, varied and always available. We mostly visited the buffet, my husband prefers this over the dining experience. The restaurants were open air it was very warm for dinner reservations. Pool and bar staff were great. I highly recommend floating out in the bay, warm water, gentle waves, so relaxing. I do believe the pools are due for an update as the tiling is worn and missing in some spots. I’d also like to see the playroom have longer hours for the littles. It was very difficult to walk by with our two year old who couldn’t go in when she saw other children playing inside. They were only allowed in twice daily during posted hours. We learned the hours and avoided walking past during off times. Overall it’s a great resort, with friendly hard working staff, comfortable beds), good food, and a beautiful beach location. Our family of eight (2-72) had a great time."

"Our stay at this charming boutique hotel exceeded our expectations. We were greeted with genuine warmth and hospitality that set the tone.
The location is perfect- a view of the bay from our room, yet walking distance to restaurants, beach and the Malecon. The hotel itself is nicely designed, with thoughtful touches that blend traditional Mexican charm with modern comfort.
The staff made the stay special. They went out of their way to make us feel at home.
This is our second time staying at Paramar and we can't wait to return!"

My stay at Hyatt Ziva was absolutely fantastic! From the moment I arrived, the staff/front desk was incredibly friendly,helpful and welcoming. My room was beautifully decorated and spacious and had a comfortable bed/great ocean view. "We just got back from a stay at Club Regina and honestly, we loved it. Right from the start, the staff were so friendly, polite, and genuinely helpful — it really made a difference.
The location is amazing. You can watch the sunset every evening and it’s just beautiful — one of our favorite parts of the trip.
Breakfast was another highlight for us. Every morning there was a delicious spread with plenty of choices, and everything we tried was fresh and tasty.
It’s true that the property is a bit older, so there were a couple of small hiccups here and there. But what really impressed us was how quickly the management stepped in to help out and make things right. Big thumbs up to them for caring so much about their guests.
Overall, we feel Club Regina gives you excellent value for what you pay — great service, stunning views, and a warm, welcoming vibe.
