"The hotel, a Leading Hotels of the World member, is well located, next to Margaret Thatcher Plaza. We booked a Red Level Deluxe room which included Club Room access and separate check-in on the 7th floor. Room had an entry hallway and bath with door separating the bedroom; it seemed small and cramped. The bed was very comfortable. The RedLevel Club Room offered complimentary buffet or a la carte breakfast till 10 AM and snack buffet starting at 13:30 every day, with standard Spanish style...

"It was wonderful. Pedro snd Enrique welcomed us at reception. They were great. Our room was ready. We couldn’t have an upgrade as there were no rooms available. We did have a lovely spacious room though and great shower room.
We also booked a premium room for our daughter and family which was fab and close by. We spent most of the day at the pool. Sunbeds and towels provided and lifeguard all day.
It was really fabulous trip"

. The included breakfast was incredible. The hotel staff were super friendly, kind, and welcoming. Camilla in reception was an especially warm and helpful person during my stay. The service overall was attentive and thoughtful. The location was incredibly walkable and convenient. The Thompson was an incredible way to kick off my trip in Madrid. Very highly recommend and would stay again!"

"Upon checking in 2e were told we needed to upgrade due to our 5 year old needing an extra bed in the room, however upon receiving the paperwork we noticed only two adults remained but the room was ``upgraded`` and we were charged for it despite asking about the free upgrade from our VIP benefits with expedia- everything else was ok- only problem was the room upgrade. I would like to reveibe either a complety refund for that extra charge of approximately $50 or some type of benefit because of...
