"It was OK since it is situated downtown so an advantage of being able to walk around the area is good. Nearby restaurants can be found once you step out of the door. Accommodations price is affordable just expect the least amount of comfort in your hostel room. The common area can be at 31deg during the daytime, wall fans are available though but working with a laptop computer could be very uncomfortable. Shower and Toilet rooms need a lot of improvements. Rats can be seen running around. "

The room we were given smelled strongly of mold, the private pool was too gross to swim in, the small beach was not inviting and everything generally felt decrepit, dirty and in poor condition. After complaining and showing staff our issues with the room, we were eventually moved to another one which was much better. Our experience wasn't great but some may like it and staff was responsive....
