"10/10!
As a foreigner who has lived in the Eastern province for some time and was missing some of the amenities at my home country, this hotel was a taste of home. Compared to other hotels in country, even ones in Aberdeen in the same area around the same price, this one far exceeds them in every way.
AC is great. Showers are rainfall and amazing pressure and spotless. Hot water too!
Bed was large and clean. The room and hotel is actually inside, which if you live here, you know inside is a...

"My husband and I spent an amazing 10 days at the Radisson Blu! Every member of staff, the breakfast (and dinner at Baw Restaurant), our room, the location and the hotel’s proximity to the beachfront, shopping and dinner and entertainment spots was superlative! We will certainly come back and had a fabulous time! My only area of improvement are the carpets in the hallways. They were old and should be replaced by the tiles in the rooms in time. Thank you for a wonderful visit to Sierra Leone and...

"The manager has good customer service skills but the property is not maintained for the price nor is it suitable for sleeping peacefully. I changed to a second room after my complaint of being scratched by wires sticking out and was first told to move me I would need to pay a different price event though the room was unsafe . I refused and show the scratch on my leg and we were moved . The second room was dirty bedsheets had hair , bathroom door hanging by one hinge so we used it without...

"My room was one of the nicest I have ever had in Freetown and I have been traveling to Freetown since 1999. A comfortable bed and a very clean and well equipped bathroom. The breakfast was adequate, but the lack of AC in the large room is a bit uncomfortable in the hot season."

"It was wonderful to be back in Sierra Leone, and given your hotel's reputation, I was excited to stay here. However, I was surprised to find both the hotel and restaurant rather empty.
I was also disappointed that the breakfast menu was almost identical for the entire week, perhaps due to the low occupancy. Other hotels in the city, even with fewer options, make an effort to change the menu daily.
I was also surprised to be asked for a card charge at checkout, which is something I have not...

"My husband and I had a fabulous night at Daltons on Banana Island! The boat that ferried us across was complimentary and while the waters were choppy, we felt perfectly safe. Dress appropriately as your clothing will likely get wet! Daltons is rustic and simple. The room was clean and perfectly adequate. The meals were simple but tasty. We took a tour of the Island and learned about the Portuguese and British use of the Island as a slaves holding station prior to the middle passage. All in all,...
