"We had a great stay at the Regina Hotel. We made great use of the rooftop pool and the private beach while we were in town. Quick walk into Santa Margherita and a short bus ride (or ~30min walk) to Portofino. The hotel staff was amazing. They helped us make reservations/called taxi’s and were all around very pleasant. Highly recommend! "

" Very nice hotel, loved the location and the view off of our terrace. Staff was always very friendly and helpful and wanted to help in any way. The pool was an excellent place to cool off and take in the view as well. I loved the Santa Margherita location because it was close to Portofino, and Rapallo and the ferry was a very nice way to get to both places. The Cinque Terre was the reason we came to this region and honestly, a full day there was enough. It’s about an hour train ride away. The...

Room. We drove from Nice to Pisa, and then back to the Liguria area for sightseeing. Hotel Vis a Vis is a beautiful location in a friendly and beautiful town. We didn’t get to explore the little town of Sestri Levante because we got to the hotel too late but we enjoyed time at the pool, poolside drinks, and an amazing dinner at the Olimpio restaurant within the hotel. It overlooks the town and has the best view. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful....

"We had a lovely stay at the hotel, the staff’s attention to details and level of service was second to none. The continental breakfast was also very good. The lobby was very well decorated and the hotel felt very welcoming. Although comfortable, the bathroom smelled of dampness and some of the corners in the shower area were rotting. A small detail that should be looked at. "

"A nice little place in a great location! Very easy walk to the beach, trains, and into town. Room is nice enough, only had a few complaints but they wouldn’t stop me from staying again are:
-there was no actual mini fridge, just a wine fridge and nowhere to plug it in.
-construction woke us up at 7:30 one day and cleaning woke us up at 8 another day. Cleaning would also unplug the wifi to vacuum.
-first place we’ve been that you have to give the front desk your key when you leave each...
