"We have nothing bad to say about this hotel. We had a very nice and clean room with a super comfortable bed. The food at the breakfast buffet and at the regular restaurant was delicious. The service at the front desk and at the restaurant and bar was great (kudos and thank you to all staff members)! We can only highly recommend this hotel!!!"

"It is great hotel in a really great location close to downtown, local zoo, and 15 min drive from airport. Staff knows english so it was easy to communicate. Laundry services was great and we were able to wash our stuff prior flight back. Very great and clean hotel. Room services were on time and room has been cleaned every day"

"The location of the apartments is excellent, close to attractions and plenty of cafes & restaurants & within walking distance of supermarkets for self catering! We stayed in the family apartment and found it very clean with sufficient kitchen equipment to allow self catering. A toaster would have been nice and a small brush & pan to clean crumbs etc would help. The only downside is traffic noise for light sleepers but I did get used to it! The air conditioning was great as there was a heatwave while we were staying and we appreciated the luggage lockers on our final day, as our flights were in the evening but we had to be out for 11. Overall it was an excellent experience."

"Electric locks forxthe buildibg were great, also the loft door opened by calling. Very nice and clean, new place. There was some renovation works going on nearby, so it was bit noisy at mornings. Wifi worked well and it was nice to get spotify and netflix on tv. Bed was great, fridge was excellent shower was bit slow but still ok. 7-10 min walk to the centrum where all the cafe’s and restaurants were. Very nice and beautiful place to be."

"Upon finding Hotel Metropolis we realised that it was a well-situated hotel for all the restaurants/cafes/bars/museums in the newer part of Kaunas as well as the Science Island and the Akropolis Shopping Centre. It was approximately a 20-minute walk from the hotel to the Old Town where Kaunas Castle is situated. The Metropolis Hotel is a lovely renovated old hotel with lots of character. We felt very safe and comfortable at this hotel. The hotel breakfast was served in the dining room downstairs each day. The drinks consisted of: coffees/teas/fruit juices. The breakfast choices were: scrambled egg/fried bacon/pancakes with ham and cheese in them/assorted cereals/biscuits/slices of cake/cold meats/salad/fresh whole fruit/tinned fruit. There was enough choice but different food could have been swapped/alternated every 3 days perhaps? (We stayed 4 nights, would have been nice to have had mushrooms with scrambled eggs one day for a change). Overall, our stay was very comfortable at Hotel Metropolis. A very well situated hotel. Would recommend to anyone staying in Kaunas. "

"Clean and comfortable stay. Extremely strange door access system, I wouldn’t recommend for anyone who doesn’t have a smart phone or anyone who doesn’t have EU roaming, as you have to call a number every time you want to get access to the flat. Theres no key or anything and although it said check in until 10pm, there was no one on site to help us at any point. You have to email or WhatsApp a photo of your ID ahead of time before they will enable your ability to access the flat via the phone number. It took 20 mins for us to get hold of anyone on the phone to help us out."

"This hotel is in the perfect location right in the center of the city on the main pedestrian street, lots of locations within walking distance to visit, lots of coffee shops, bars and restaurants. ten minute walk from the Arena and large shopping centre. 10 minutes walk from the old town and river walks and parks. Location wise it is perfect. The hotel itself is clean and tidy with very pleasant staff, Room nice and clean and everything you need in it.The only downside to this hotel is they only have a breakfast room so if you have an hour or so free before heading out you have to stay in your room as there is no bar or lobby to relax in but apart from that I would stay in this hotel again."
