6/10 Good

The room was ok. There was a sign on the stairs saying ‘Please remove dirty shoes’. People obviously don’t. Stairs hadn’t been hoovered in a while. Room was ok, with kettle, TV, and en suite bathroom. It’s ok for a budget Hotel. Right on the River front and close to shops and restaurants. The restaurant is closed on Mondays, so no breakfast review. I would stay again

Very convenient central location with free parking and lots of restaurants/takeaways close by. Nice location opposite river and park for lovely walks.
Susan, 2-night trip

2/10 Poor

Property very run down. Definitely soon if the rooms were occupied by permanent residents, not visitors to the town

A delightful place. The staff are friendly and helpful and the bedroom was comfortable. The public rooms are tastefully decorated and well-furnished. There is an overall feeling of guests being welcome and care being taken to make their stay pleasant. Highly recommended.

A simple, quiet, quality hotel, located in a great area, with a short walk to the entertainment areas. Always a pleasure staying there, and treated ourselves to a suite on New Year’s Eve/ Day … exceptional!!!

Ghost town with a tumbl weed

Hotel is a ghost town wasn't serving food no amenities but rooms nice. 4 min walk to town and great curry house 1 min walk which was really good BYOB
Jude, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

The breakfast was lovely, the staff were friendly, kind and thoughtful, parking was easy, the little courtyard outside was lovely, just across the road was the river and it was very picturesque. However, the room was tatty, covered in cobwebs there was areas of the ceiling where you could see the water had come through. The bathroom door hinges were loose, which made it hard to close and open, the shower head had been taped on and the water in the sink didn't drain away very quickly as though the drain was blocked and there was a nasty smell that came up the plughole. It was extremely noisy and the bed squeaked loudly everytime we moved. The lady at the fron desk was wonderful and when she saw i was on crutches, she changed our room to one that was more suitable for me. I cannot fault the staff as they were all lovely but the hotel has definitely seen better days
Amanda, 2-night trip

8/10 Very good

The staff were very friendly, the room could have been cleaner. But overall the stay was quite adequate.
Elaine, 2-night trip

The premier room was great - plenty of space and nicely decorated.
George, 2-night trip

Pleasant stay

A few cobwebs up at the ceiling, bathroom could do with a re-fit, looking pretty tired, other than that a pleasant stay
Martin, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

Average

A hotel that is neither luxurious or basic. The room was clean and quite. The service was average.
Sara, 3-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Highly recommended.

Clean, spacious comfortable room. Brilliant location, surprisingly quiet considering how close to the centre it is. Very agreeable altogether. We would definitely stay here again when in the area.
Brian, 2-night trip

8/10 Very good

Good location on the river, property in need of a renovation. Checkin person was very pleasant
Nigel, 1-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

I only met one member of staff as I arrived late, but she was lovely and helpful. Room was big, had everything you need, the bathroom had a bath AND a shower and was hot and powerful! Hotel is very reasonable for the price, would stay again!
Max, 1-night trip

Economy room, good value for money. A little dated but clean, large room. Big bathroom with great showers

2 nights in Evesham

We had a great stay in The Northwick arms although there was no hot breakfast but the location meant that food was very easy to get
Nicholas, 2-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Ideal for business travellers

A traditional hotel designed to give the best possible value for money for short stay travellers. Does everything that really matters well enough without costing too much. Everything was just fine, although I could have done without the mattress protector under the bedsheet.

Family visit to siblings

Having stayed at the same hotel in May, partly due to its location, I was again very happy with the professional & friendly nature of the staff I met and the room itself. I also enjoyed the breakfast. The hotel was also happy to look after my luggage on the day I booked out as I was meeting up with people. The only hiccup was the heating in the bathroom being on all the time on a hot weekend. The staff , when told, weren't able to resolve this.
David, 2-night trip

8/10 Very good

Last minute booking

Staff were lovely and had a nice big duplex room. The breakfast was also really good. The issue we had was the shower did not have hot water. The room was also a bit dusty in places.
Sophie, 1-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Really good

Wife had recently been ill and they moved us to a room on the first floor rather than the second to make it easier. They cannot install a lift as it’s a listed building. Brilliant service all round. Very nice staff. No hesitating in recomending this hotel.
