Peaceful and affordable
This was a great hostel, the staff were genuinely friendly and the hostel itself was clean and in a great location. It's close to the action and the walking street but you can't hear a peep when your are tucked away in your room. The hostel was brand new when we stayed in it so they were still working out some kinks and doing some renos but when it is all done it will be even better. The only unfortunate part about it is that there is really no hangout area or kitchen, and the rooftop space is crowded with water barrels (though if you don't mind the clutter it's a great spot to have a beer, take in the views and enjoy sunset). We really recommend this to someone looking for a peaceful and affordable stay in Patong (and your business goes towards a family business instead of a large hotel chain-- which is always a good thing)
