A wonderful stay from start to finish. We absolutely loved it and would recommend it to anyone. The hotel and our room were really comfortable - it just had a really relaxing atmosphere. We paid to access the spa and our 24-hour access meant we could use it both on the day arrived and the following day before leaving. The floating sauna was the highlight. We went back to the sauna before breakfast the day we were leaving to find it locked. The receptionist explained that they didn’t usually fire it up on weekdays when they weren’t busy but she was happy to turn it on for us if we could wait an hour. What excellent service. We had pre-booked dinner in the hotel - the food was absolutely superb. There is a great choice of wines and beers on draft and their own beer is available in bottles. Though the spa and dinner were added costs, our room rate was very good value and included breakfast. All in all, worth every penny and we would definitely go back.

Hadde håpet på utsikt utover vannet,men det var opp mot skogen istedenfor. Fint rom med god seng. Rent og fint. Litt vanskelig å komme inn i dusjen? . Det var veldig hyggelige mennesker i resepsjonen og ved den fantastiske frokosten 🍷hjemmebakt grovt brød og masse godt pålegg. Alt i alt en fin opplevelse.👍

Flott hotell med masse spennende kunst både inne og ute. Blide og imøtekommende personell. Spa avdelingen var også bra, men deilig badstue på bryggen. God mat også. Det var min andre tur dit, og blir nok ikke den siste

I utg.pkt. et flott sted. Noen deler av hotellet bar preg av at det var noe gammelt og slitt. Deilig med muligheten til å kombinere bad og badstue ute med spa-avdeling inne. Minus for ekstra inngangspenger i spaet( basseng og badstue) for gjester på hotellet. Grei, men noe kjedelig frokost. Veldig flotte omgivelser. Morsom underholdning på kvelden.

De fantastiske omgivelser var baggrundstæppet for en hyggelig aften med en fabelagtig middag i hotelrestauranten, Ax. Et efterhånden lidt slidt hotel, men rent og pænt og service i top. Vi kommer helt sikkert tilbage.

Fantastiskt ställe i vacker miljö med otroligt välkomnande personal! Strömavbrott när jag anlände men personalen gjorde verkligen det bästa av situationen! Mycket trevligt spa , god frukost som kunde avnjutas utomhus. Bonus med bastu nere vid sjön samt tillgång till kajak, kanot eller sup samt gratis parkering och att det gick bra att nyttja faciliteterna hela dagen efter utcheckning! Det enda jag saknade var en vattenkokare och kylskåp på rummet. Gymmet behöver en uppdatering/översyn (roddmaskinen fungerade inte till exempel) men fungerar fint för enklare träning. Kommer definitivt tillbaka! Otroligt välkomnande plats där du verkligen kan slappna av

Veldig fin aleneferie

Hyggelig personale, fint uteområde med et stort utvalg av hagemøbler. Mange barnefamilier og middelaldrende par. Ganske vanlig, men absolutt god frokost! Stor parkering og gode muligheter for å lade elbil med mange ladere. Det var 30° og sol de dagene jeg var her, så skulle veldig gjerne ønske at det var aircondition på rommet(var ac kun i fellesområdene). Spør om å få et rom på skyggesiden, det hjalp nok noe for min del. Renholdet av rommet var dessverre ikke supert. Det var møkk og støv flere steder. Angrer på at jeg ikke sa i fra om dette, da de helt sikkert hadde utbedret. Noe stive priser i restauranten(i alle fall for min del), så jeg dro innom en matbutikk på veien, og kjøpte med litt mat som ikke trenger å stå kaldt, for å ha til lunsj etc. Dessverre ikke kjøleskap/minibar på rommet. Men alt i alt var dette et veldig fint sted å dra på aleneferie i et par dager!

Very good service. Do be aware that pool entrance is extra. It is not clear from Hotels.com. The restaurant has super service but the food is terrible and very expensive. It was so embarrassing. They provide you with recommendations for wines to the food, but even simple French fries were screwed up. Pretentious and the chef was just a disgrace. We did however get a discount of the food, so the waiter did a good job. But still super bad experience.
