Nice modern hotel with a great history. Room and bathroom comfortable. Very near subway that takes you to the city center in 5-7 minutes. Great breakfast buffet, but wish the restaurant wad better ventilated. After having breakfast thre all clothes have a smell of food.

Very nice big room, but the mattress was a bit hard for my taste. Nice and quiet, beautiful atmosphere and interior, and the breakfast is also worth coming back for! We went by U-Bahn to the city centre which is fast and easy, so perfect location if you come by car.

Beautiful building inside and out. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Our room was a comfort room and it was very big. The bed was super comfy and a fantastic delicious breakfast. So much choice and the scrambled eggs were delicious. The subway is a few mins walk and gets you everywhere easily. We found the subway easy to get around. From the airport you need the green line (S1) and change at central to the red (U2) to the hotel. Easy! You can buy a group pass for up to 5 people for 13 euros. Hamburg is a brilliant city

Nice room. It's an interesting hotel. We stayed a few years ago and did feel breakfast not as exciting as it was. Pancakes not kept warm and poor selection of bread. Only one sweet item which was a pain au Chocolat which not everyone likes. Maybe some small muffins would be good. The shower leaked at sides and the big shower head needs cleaning as water not coming out properly. Also made a very loud noise. A kettle or coffee maker would be nice . Close to underground

Cold and loud

It was cold in the room and there was no possibility to heat up. My room was in the basement floor and outside the window was a box and when it was raining it felt like someone was playing the drums next to your window, especially at night. Breakfast was good.

Virkelig et spændende og på alle måder i den øverste klasse af Hotel. Sjovt nok - for hotellet virker som sådan spartansk, men stilen er yderst sympatisk, spændende og interessant. Værelset vi fik var stort og virkeligt højt til loftet. Brunchen kunne godt være Hamburgs bedste.

Jättefint hotell och trevlig, hjälpsam personal vid incheckning och frukost :) Enda minusen var att toalettstolen måste ha glömt att rengöras invändigt och lakanen var av oskönt material som samlade på sig fluff och hår.

Ikke helt som forventet

Ikke helt som forventet ud fra den generelle høje bedømmelse. Dårlige parkeringsforhold svært at komme rundt med en større bil. Meget kraftig parfumeret lugt (airfresher) på hele hotellet dog mest i underetagen - hvorfor? Hvilken dårlig lugt skal skjules? Meget larm fra gadetrafik især mod Lidl! Ingen ventilation eller a/c og når vinduer står åbne så er der alt for meget larm. Generelt for varmt på værelserne Alle vinduer på gange mv. står derfor også åbne! Gardin kan ikke trækkes rigtig for så man får gadelys direkte ind i hovedet? Der er tale om en decideret fejlkonstruktion som kunne afhjælpes med fx. en clips Der er ikke kaffe på værelset. Det bør der være når man viser 4 stjerner ved indgangen. Meget mørkt på hotellets gange. Ligger i et kedeligt område, som ikke virker som det mest trygge område. Gratis parkering og morgenmad er ikke nok til at trække op til andre tilsvarende hoteller! Personalet/Betjening er meget imødekommende. Der er rigtig fint tryk på vandet selv på 5. sal
