What a wonderful view of the water. The ferries were right out our hotel door. The hotel was very old but well kept. There were a lot of stairs to get up to our room. I definitely would suggest a balcony.

Mysigt rum med balkong, utsikt över kajen och Stockholms inlopp. Väldigt serviceminded personal som till och med höll frukosten öppen en timme längre, då vi missat tiden. Jättegod och mysig middag i renoverad restaurang med panoramautsikt över bland annat kastellet. Ny regi som gör att hotellet åter är värt att rekommendera!

Fint läge med fantastisk utsikt från fräsch restaurang. Små rum i åldrande skick m gnisslande dörrar, fallande duschhållare o slarvigt upphängda gardiner. Hemsk utsikt från rummet… Hissen upp till första våningen var svår att hitta och i stort behov av att moderniseras!

Fint hotell med trevlig personal. God frukost med lagom mycket att välja på! En guldstjärna till kvinnan som hjälpte oss när vi fick stopp i handfatet! Good, but not great

The hotel is close to the boat to Stockholm and close to many shops and restaurants, which is great. The staff was very polite, friendly and helpful. The room was cozy, with a great view to the harbour. It could have been a tad bit cleaner (especially the shower curtain), but overall good enough. The big downside, was all the noise. First from a local consert (the windows shivered) and then from the restaurant until 01 in the night. Which would be great to know about when checking in. The breakfast was decent enough, not too much, but they had waffles! I also heartily recommend their restaurant Verandan for a nice dinner with a stunning view! Overall; decent hotell on a great island.

Waxholms hotell är verkligen trevligt och vyn från hotellets restaurang är oslagbar. Väl värt en tur från Stockholm city. Helst med de trevliga waxholmsförjorna förstås. Restaurangen har vi ätit på ett par gånger, bra mat och bra bredd. Men vinlistan är inte rolig. Hur kan man börja priserna på 625 kr för det billigaste rödvinet?
