My son and I spent two nights here as we embarked and debarked our cruise of the Havila of the Norwegian Coast. The hotel was close to the dock so it was easy to board. The breakfast is amazing. Oh, we also had an arrival near midnight, the staff was there to greet us!

Pros: Terrific breakfast buffet Excellent service Great location Cons: Bad bathrooms: NO DOOR, little counter space, no free amenities. Having no door is not just a privacy issue (if the room door is open you can see straight into the shower which has a clear glass shower door), it is also a noise issue and a steam issue.

I really wanted to love this boutique style hotel. Great location, friendly, helpful staff and we appreciated the hearty breakfast included with our stay. The room itself was underwhelming and small even by European standards and even though we upgraded. No storage space meant having to live out of suitcases and missed having a door separating the toilet from sleeping space.
