I stayed in Berlin for nine nights to enjoy Wagner's Ring Cycle at the nearby Staatsoper. The room was very spacious and comfortable. The location was very good for accessing the tourist sites in Central Berlin.

We loved out stay at Clipper Boardinghouse. The only thing we could not understand was the cooling system in that it never appeared to work. This may have been our lack of understanding but never the less if you want older people to stay with you there is room for improvement here. To have everything online is not helpful either.

Excellent Place.

A large suite for less than the price of most other rooms in the area. A mini kitchen with a nice 2 burner counter top unit. Nespresso machine, microwave and refrigerator. Made breakfast in the room every morning. Nice bathroom. Also had an enclosed porch with sitting area and windows all around. Location was great. Nice Italian restaurant connected to the hotel which was open until midnight.

Great location, excellent room and design. Altho the room ("apartment") has a kitchen, there is no nearby place to buy groceries (food, coffee, cream or other beverages) to keep in the fridge, and the hotel does not provide any food/dining room for breakfast or other meals. The passageway to the rooms on the 8th floor is a bit dangerous, I recommend they install proper steps, or warning signs and maybe a grab bar.

While the standard studio is a bit small for two people staying more than a few days they are the only rooms that face the courtyard and are super quiet. The big problem here is lack of storage space for two people. The free laundry machine is a nice touch if you are lucky enough to find it or the dryer free. The laundry service is no substitute as you might as well buy new clothes for what they charge plus they can’t handle stains. Otherwise, this is a great place to stay in Berlin.

The hotel is well located and super near all transport means. The bed is very comfortable. That being said, its a bit too expensive for what it is. It only has a microwave so no cooling possible. There are dishes but no dish rack to dry them after washing so if you use dishes the place inevitably looks a mess. The internet is VERY flakey. I would not recommend anyone work from there.

Detta (lägenhets)hotell ligger centralt i Mitte, parallellgata till Unter den Linden. Vi var tre pers och hade ett stort rum med extrasäng, soffgrupp, kök och bord, stor separat garderob och fräscht badrum med dusch. Ett uterum med två fåtöljer var en bonus. Golvfläkt på rummet funkade bra i slutet av augusti. Vi är så nöjda och det är ingen tvekan om att det blir detta hotell nästa gång vi åker till Berlin. Personalen i receptionen såväl som städpersonal är mycket trevliga.
